About You
It was great to be able to gain an insight into the banking sector however I feel at times there was a lack of organisation
The networking event and leaving drinks helped make us feel valued
The skills session on delivering presentations was useful when we had to present as part of our assessment so that support was greatly appreciated
The Company
Week was structured on the surface but when it came to a few a job shadowing parts the workers didn't seem prepared or as if they were expecting us
Great, the graduates were down to earth and the other interns were like minded to myself and everyone got a long really well
It gave us a excellent insight into the everyday life. This was down through the job shadowing and was more to do with me asking the right and relevant questions rather than them telling us about their day to day life.
During the whole week, they really hammered home how they want to be the number one bank for customer satisfaction and advocacy by 2020 so it really got engrained into us how rbs are focused on the customer and their graduates need to have a similar mindset
Everything Else
Monday evening was a networking event where we was able to mingle with current graduates as well senior managers over drinks and a quiz. There was something similar on Friday for leaving drinks which was beneficial as well
Not particularly, I would have liked to hear more about the csr activities graduates undertake.
Absolutely!
