  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • The insight was a superb experience! It's a very intense look at what a role in the markets can provide, but you will learn a great deal in a very short space of time.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

    • On desk rotations JPMorgan employees were extremely helpful and were willing to answer our questions. This was compounded by the time and effort HR clearly put into making the week run smoothly.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?

    • There was a great deal of guidance, we went into the spring week with the understanding we didn't know a great deal about banking, yet their was constant ability to ask questions to clarify anything we were unsure of.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • My understanding of banking has increased exponentially.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Extremely well structured, with a mix of product overviews, networking and work shadowing.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?

    • The atmosphere was superb especially echoed by the other candidates JPMorgan had attracted, it was extremely welcoming.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • This was only a week-long insight yet, a lot of time was invested in us trying to get all our collective understanding up, rather than focussing on the most able.

    • I am now extremely eager to peruse a career at J.P.Morgan.

    • Massively beneficial in gaining an appreciation of the corporate culture exhibited by JPMorgan.

    • Invaluable experience in my own understanding of what career I want to persue.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • Hotel Accomadation and flights were paid for, if one was not from London.

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Numerous networking opportunities which those from all heirarchies of the firm.

    • Social events were provided to get to know each other, for instance a quiz and social drinks on the last day.

    • There was some discussion however I didnt ask many questions relating to their time when not at work.

    • I would reccomend the JPMorgan insight to any of my friends who were keen to investigate what a role in finance would entail.
