About You
I loved my week at Savills, it really flew by!
I felt like another member of the team, very comfortable.
There were talks and an assigned mentor making every aspect well supported.
The advice given will help me qualify as a Surveyor and the skill set has improved my confidence within Real Estate.
The Company
Relatively well structured, with talks and lunches at appropriate times. Occasionally clashes with site visits and planned talks meaning some were missed, but this was generally unavoidable in such a short time frame.
Very casual, comfortable and welcoming.
As far as possible my mentor explained things and helped me with codes of practice. The talks laid on were very good, for example explaining the APC process to us.
Was slightly more relaxed than I should imagine full time work would be, but as true to life as possible seeing as you were literally following a graduate who was in their full time role.
The structure and way people worked was very clear.
Solidified my choice of real estate.
Everything Else
I was reimbursed expenses up to £100, which was adequate for train travel.
Many, including drinks with current graduates and a fee earners lunch.
They were good for making us comfortable.
Yes, the graduates gave us a presentation on this.
I enjoyed it so much I couldn't stop recommending it.
