  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • Very well; good variety of activities and lots of breaks/networking sessions.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • All the other Spring Interns were willing to share their knowledge, advice and experiences and no one was trying to promote themselves or 'eliminate the competition'. It was a very open, healthy and supportive environment.

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • A great deal of time spent helping with all my queries, several people went out of their way to arrange additional work shadowing/networking with other areas of the bank.

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • A great deal. Lots of work shadowing and meeting people from all different levels gave a good insight.

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • A lot. The only way to understand the culture of a company is to go and visit. From speaking to various people and the way in which people presented themselves I got a brilliant insight.
