About You
- very informative, detail introduction into UBS and its culture. - learn a lot about investment banking.
- many opportunity to ask questions
- all of the activities and workshop are held by people from divisions, e.g. in the trading game, people from ICS were helping and offered to provide explanation. Most of them are very helpful and friendly.
- the insight I gained from this insight program gives me much clear idea what I want to do after graduate. - surly it helps my Economics in some ways.
The Company
- most of the time are workshops, games, and talks - wednesday afternoon's work shadowing is most insightful and fun. I wish the shadowing is much longer.
- Very friendly staff - Most candidates are very nice and friendly. I have met a lot of talented people all over UK.
- since it is just a 4 days program (with a assessment centre on the last day), we only had basic introduction into UBS and ibank. Not very in depth but good enough. - However, we are told that they provide many comprehensive training to graduates and many enrichment program available ranges from associates to directors
- got a chance to meet a lot of talented employees. During the conversation with them, you can learn much more about UBS's culture and how much responsibility they have been assigned to.
Very much. However, there is a distinct difference between European and American banks. You can sense it through talking to people there.
After knowing much more about the actual job responsibilities and role for each division, it completely changed my thought about ibank and certainly affect my decision for applying future summer internship or graduate scheme.
Everything Else
My train tickets were fully reimbursed and they provide apartment hotel as accommodation during that week. Not paid.
Yes. Many. Speed networking lunch, work shadowing, graduate panel gives me opportunities to meet other employees. And on the first day of the week, we had a social night which allow us to meet and social with other people. However, I think we would have a greater bonding if the social night is on someday during the week rather than on monday.
Very good opportunity to meet people. Learnt a lot.
Yes. There is a section all about how UBS cares about CSR, LGBT, female workers, and people from different culture. UBS is very supportive.
Yes surly it is a very good opportunity to get into ibanking and knowing other people from other uni, so as employees in UBS.
