About You
This insight week was really interesting. I learned lots of things thanks to the different case studies and group work. Moreover, it was really helpful because it helped me to know in which division I really want to work.
Barclays and all its employees really tried to give us attention during this week through all the tasks that they gave us.
We received lots of guidance/support during this week because we were always guided during the case studies and the group work. Moreover, someone of the HR was always there if we had any questions about the week.
We received lots of information on the different divisions of the bank but also on the different jobs thanks to the speed chats, the sessions or the networking event. We could ask everything we wanted. It was really interesting and helpful.
The Company
The insight was well structured. We knew in advance all the scheduled that was well structured with lots of sessions, breaks ...
I really enjoyed the insight in Barclays because as I said I learned a lot, I met really interesting people and this week was really helpful to discover all the different areas and all the opportunities within Barclays.
We did not really have a personal training but we could ask any question we wanted.
We met lots of Barclays' employees. We could freely speak with them, asking what was their typical day in Barclays. So we could easily know what would be a full time role like.
We met lots of Barclays' employees who explained us the culture of Barclays but we also had a session on the Barclays' values launched in 2012.
This week was really helpful to decide in which division I really wanted to chose for my future career.
Everything Else
I was paid and Barclays reimbursed all the travel expenses. They also provided us the accommodation.
During all the week and each day we met some Barclays' employees and we also had a networking event in Barclays.
The networking event was really interesting. I met two Barclays' employees who were really interesting by sharing their own experience within Barclays. They took on their own time to speak with us and it was really helpful for us.
Not really ...
Without any doubt, yes! I really enjoyed my week within Barclays. This week was interesting and helpful thanks to all the different case studies, group work and meetings.
