About You
The scheme provide me with an opportunity to see what life as a trainee is like. I also enjoyed all the opportunities we had to network with trainees and associates.
People were willing to help, explain things and answer your questions.
My trainee supervisor was supportive, and took the time to explain what the department did and what our services to our clients were. I also shared a room with a trainee who had just started their training contract, he was willing to give me advice and answer my questions.
I was able to utilise skills I had in the tasks I have been given.
The Company
I always knew what I was doing, and what activities had been organised for the group.
Pleasant people were willing to help, explain things, and answer my questions.
We had a session on creating our personal brand, which was very useful when thinking about career paths and personal development.
I will be applying for vacation schemes based of this experience, as it solidified that being a city solicitor is the career I want to persue.
It seemed like a pleasant place to work.
The personal development session was good.
Everything Else
Yes
Lunch networking, and meeting people in the department was good.
The final day we went to bounce (ping-pong bar) that was good opportunity to meet more trainees.
A little about some of the associates and trainees pro-bono work.
