About You
Really enjoyed the scheme and felt it really gave a good insight into a future career in law at Taylor Wessing.
I felt very valued as my department gave me work that was both useful to current cases but also challenging to me.
Both my supervisor and the recruitment team were on hand to help whenever I needed it.
After feedback, one thing I have tried to apply to my degree is making sure I have done everything I can in my essays before asking for help. Making sure my work is at the highest quality it can be before I get other people to look at it.
The Company
Very well structured, especially enjoyed the social events. However I felt that the department choices should have been given out a week or two earlier so I could have time to prepare for my seat.
Great!!!
The term spent a lot of time introducing and allowing vacation scheme students to get to know people within the firm, especially the Partners.
The scheme helped to really understand what would be expected of a future trainee, in terms of responsibilities and expectations.
The scheme was very heavily emphasized on the firms culture, therefore I have gained a valuable understanding of the culture and ethos of the firm.
The experience I have gained has given me the opportunity to decide that a career in law is for me.
Everything Else
I was paid.
Yes, there were several opportunities through arranged lunches and social events in the evening.
They were very good especially as they were done in a relaxed atmosphere.
Yes, one activity I found especially interesting was the Pro-Bono work that trainees could get involved in at Waterloo. This gave me a valuable insight into the extra legal opportunities for trainees at Taylor Wessing.
Yes!!!
