About You
The Spring Insight was well organised and thoughtfully planned out. I learned a lot and I enjoyed the experience overall.
I definitely felt valued during my time there and everyone I met was extremely welcoming and happy to answer my questions.
Again, everyone there was happy to answer my questions and I never felt lacking in this regard.
The Insight has already helped me narrow down my career choices, which is extremely valuable. We had several Managing Directors come in and talk to us about their divisions, and all of them happily gave advice about career choices.
The Company
Everything was well structured and well timed out, which was very impressive considering this was only the second year they have done a Spring Insight.
Everyone was welcoming and genuinely seemed to enjoy talking about their work and answering our questions.
In terms of personal training and development, we conducted an investment banking case study and a trading game. While both were insightful, I would have appreciated more detailed feedback.
I feel that I have a much better understanding of what it would be like to work full time at RBC. We had many opportunities to ask questions to employees and there was a networking event afterwords, which had a good ratio of employees to students.
I had already heard lots about RBC's culture before the Spring Insight, but talking to employees just confirmed what a great culture they have.
It was incredibly helpful and has already helped me narrow down my career choices.
Everything Else
The Spring Insight was not paid, but I was reimbursed for my expenses.
There was a networking event at the end of the days, and the employees even stayed after it was officially over.
The networking event was very great and there was a good ratio of employees to students.
During the graduate panel we had the opportunity to ask first and second year employees questions about their work/life balance.
I already have.
