The Role
Very rewarding and enjoyable. Learned a lot and felt valuable to the company.
Colleagues were helpful and accommodating, and very inclusive.
Direct day-to-day task advice was helpful and informative. Higher managerial performance-based advice was constructive and apt, allowing for personal development.
Occasional moments of stress or inactivity, but generally a good balance, motivating without undue pressure.
Levels of responsibility were gradually increased during the internship. However, as part of an existing team the wider direction my work was taking was not something I was able to decide upon myself.
Immensely useful. Industry skills developed, as well as soft skills such as time management and communicational skills. Very, very beneficial.
The Company
Lively atmosphere, but a professional environment.
No administrative problems affected me during my internship.
A lot of time was directly allocated to my manager to use for my training and education. Meetings all the way up the management line were arranged to help assess my skills and areas for improvement.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare from home
Strongly considering a job with the company (which has been tentatively offered).
The Culture
Large intern community with plenty of social events. Many were even paid for by the company!
About as expected for the Greater London area.
None in Enfield. Journeys into London required!
More to do than I had time for!
