About You
Very enjoyable, a good mix of assessment and insight all at a good pace.
Very well looked after, with good accommodation provided, travel expenses paid for and lunch very good throughout the week. Employees also very happy to answer any questions which were asked.
A good level, particularly from graduates on job shadowing days.
A much better understanding of the banking world and any the sectors which I would potentially like to work in in the future.
The Company
Very well structured. A good combination of assessment, job shadowing and insight into RBS with a good amount of time spent on each.
Enjoyable and welcoming, the employees we met were very helpful and the atmosphere between one another as interns was very friendly.
Explained the core values of RBS well as well as a better understanding of the banking industry as a whole.
Very clearly, much time was spent networking with current graduates to ascertain what the experience was truly like for them.
Very clearly indeed, the company's core values were repeated from day 1 to the final day.
Invaluable, definitely highlighted that this was a career I would seriously consider.
Everything Else
All travel and accommodation was reimbursed, as well as expenses for lunch and dinner.
Yes, a huge amount, met different employees from different sectors through the week.
Very good, often a very relaxed atmosphere where you felt free to ask whichever questions you wished.
Yes, a networking session was devoted to explaining the different opportunities available which was delivered by current employees.
Most definitely, if not only to see the world of banking but the skills learnt whilst networking were very useful.
