The Role
Boring at times, each day was very similar.
short nature of internship means i didn't feel a strong member of the team
good managerial support
varied from day to day, but very rarely given real work or responsibility.
same as above
developed my skills by engaging with customers and colleagues, but feel that i was under utilised.
The Company
good work atmosphere, with a friendly team.
didnt have access to a computer for at least a week at the start, which made it hard to actually do any work
spent the majority of my time training
don't think i will work in a retail banking environment
The Culture
all interns were friendly and exchanged emails to catch up on how everyone was doing
very expensive area to live in, had to live at home
not particularly relevant to my placement
community days were useful and a change from the office.
