  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • I really enjoyed the event as it gave me a better understanding of what I want to do in the future. I also found that the staff were really friendly and helpful.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

    • I felt really valued as the staff put a lot of time and effort into the two day event in talking to us about future career plans and working with us during our group projects.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?

    • There was lots of guidance and support in helping us choose the line of service we wanted to apply for. There was a drinks reception with current graduates at KPMG which was really helpful. There were also detailed presentations on each service line which really helped me to understand which suited me best.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • Through the group project and presentation I developed lots of different skills that will definitely benefit me at university and in my future career. Also all the information I received definitely helped me to decide what i want to do in the future.

    • It was a well structured day that was planned well and everything ran very smoothly.

    • The general atmosphere of everyone on the insight was very positive and the staff were all very friendly and willing to talk and answer questions.

    • KPMG invested money and the time of its staff in helping us to decide what career we would want with the company.

    • The presentations were very useful in setting out the different lines of service that KPMG offer and through talking to staff it was very easy to understand what they do within the company.

    • Through presentations and talking to staff I was able to understand the culture of KMPG a lot more that i had before.

    • It was very useful as after the presentations and talking to staff i was much better informed on my future career path.

    • I was reimbursed for my travel expenses and we were given lunch expenses.

    • There were numerous occasions to network with staff at KPMG.

    • I really enjoyed the networking opportunities as they were very relaxed and the staff were very friendly.

    • During the presentations we were told about charity events that staff members have been involved in.
