The Role
Excellent, very useful.
There were relatively few of us on this placement and we were split into small groups to encourage everybody to contribute.
A significant proportion of the program was intended to support and guide our application process for the graduate schemes. The insight into the FSA and the application process was invaluable.
The program was a single and highly structured day. We were therefore very busy.
This is not really applicable to the scheme. We were performing exercises in teams and in that capacity we were running that show, but we did not get involved in actual work being done by the FSA.
The insight into the FSA and the application process was invaluable, particularly the appreciation of the dynamics and marking of a group exercise, an understanding of the factors which were most important to the FSA, and the way that competency based questions are marked.
The Company
Not really applicable as we were on a structured day scheme, but the atmosphere was excellent.
Very. This was well structured, we weren't talked at for too long and we covered a significant amount of ground in a very short time.
The company invested a number of their employees during the day for networking and panel questions as well as to help run the variety of exercises we took part in. However, given that we were only there for a single day, not much more investment was possible.

Due to the excellence and focus of the scheme I am confident that I have put in a good application to the FSA. Should I progress I will also be comfortable when dealing with forthcoming parts of the application process.
