The Role
Greatly enjoyed the internship. Enjoyed the role, the work and got along very well with my fellow colleagues. The internship was well structured and well organised by HR.
From day one it was made clear that I was a fellow team member and was made to feel that way. I was given a large amount of responsibility from the onset and felt a valued member of the team. My colleagues were very supportive and very willing to answer any questions I had.
Daily contact with my line manager and direct regular contact with the MD on my desk, as well as other members of senior management. The initiative to conduct one to one meetings with directors and MD's enabled me to converse with and gain a valuable insight as well as guidance and advice from various senior members of staff from across every business area in the bank.
I worked on a vast range of different projects and areas so the work was always interesting and varied. It was always possible to take on further responsibility and increase my work load.
I was given responsibilities from day one which I relished and thrived upon.
The gained a vast array of knowledge and experience from the programme, learning a considerable amount within the ten weeks.
The Company
I got along well with my team and the atmosphere at the desk was great and conductive for working
Extremely well structured and organised by HR, who I had regular contact with. There were various events organised away from the desk including speaker series, community days and networking events.
Extensive initial training before joining the desk and continual learning opportunities throughout the duration of the programme, including speaker series events and online tutorials.

The Culture
Got along very well with my fellow colleagues and have made some good friends.
