The Role
This internship was unlike no other, with 70 other interns the working atmosphere was great. You are fully supported by all staff members during your time.
I felt valued by my team, other interns and also by HP as a whole. They really respect the intern community for the work they do and know they are an integral part of the company
I was given support when asked by my managers and supervisors, this came in the form of formal 1:1s, weekly catch ups and being able to ask them anything
My work varied week to week, this made the job more exciting. I have been very busy all year
I was given the chance to lead the internal HP magazine, this is distributed to 24 sites across the UK. I was also given the ability to lead events and other projects as well as to work independently day to day
I think the year at HP has helped me immensely, personally and professionally and has equipped me for the future
The Company
High morale in the office and the ability to approach everyone made the working environment pleasant and it was fun to come to work!
Very well organised, with a 1 month handover the previous intern ensured I knew what I was doing before giving me the ropes
They invest heavily in interns, allowing them a lot of responsibility

The Culture
The intern social life was great, always going out with lots of events to get involved in!
Reading isn't that expensive - houses are a good price and going out doesn't cost too much
great!
