    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • This was a fantastic experience, invaluable to my career and studies. Enjoyed every minute of it.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • I felt valued and useful at all times. People got me engaged in work straight away. I was never treated like an intern, but rather as an employee. I felt as such as well! That motivated me to work and develop.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I have had support all along the way. My manager, mentors and colleagues have always been there for me for generic questions but also to discuss my individual career.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Very busy! In a good way. I always had something to do,

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • The level of responsibility grew along the way. In the end, I was organising and managing events in UK and outside with one other colleague. I got trusted with alot when I showed I could handle alot. I appreciate it so much. It has taught me a great deal.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Massively. I don't know where to start when describing how vast a variety of skills I learned during this time. Because people have been so open to share, I have been able to learn all from people skills, to technical skills to sales and marketing skills..

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • It was great. Very helpful and friendly.

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Quite well. It depended on which person you took over from. I did not receive much guidance from the previous intern, but I got alot of support from my colleagues. I got to build the role into what it is, which has been one of my development points.

    4/5
