The Role
Work in a fast paced, innovative environment. Great to see how the business is changing and the steps that are needed to make those changes.
Treated like a normal employee, never made to feel I was 'just the intern'. I have been given a large amount of responsibility so that makes me feel valued.
100% support given whenever needed despite busy schedules Not 100% guidance a you have to feel your own way but there are positives to that too.
At some points my work load go too much but my manager was aware of this and helped balance the load.
Heaps of responsibility, quote my manager about me and another team member "you guys run this show".
Skills for life, for future career, great insight into work and industry.
The Company
Good atmosphere as team of predominately graduates. Good social life. Atmosphere did get a lot more serious when executives were around.
A whole department 'Foundation' developed to set up early careers. Training, education, careers academy all set up to take advantage of.
Assigned a 'Personal development manager' to invest in you, great scheme, although could have smaller groups assigned to each manager.

Working from home
I would like to pursue my graduate career with IBM. I have found a department I'd like to develop my skills in and think will grow in all industries.
The Culture
Really good social scene, every Thursday people would go for after work drinks. We also met up at weekends for night outs, picnics and trips to Thorpe Park!
Central London so really expensive, but where there's a will there's a way!
Every Thursday we'd go out for after work drinks at the pub a stones throw away. City workers give students a run for their money!
Have been to great events within work but not much outside of work.
