  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I really enjoyed my placement, the people at HP are what makes it. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming.

    • My colleagues treated my like I was a normal employee, I was always respected and made to feel welcome.

    • I was given full support and guidance throughout my placement, I felt like I could always ask a question if I wanted to.

    • My tasks varied therefore I could be quiet one week and very busy the next.

    • I was given full responsibility of all of my tasks throughout my placement.

    • The training I received related a lot to modules I had done at university and the skills I have developed I will use forever.

    • Relaxed, comfortable.

    • I was the first intern in my role therefore my job role wasn't fully established at the start, but I was soon settled and given tasks daily.

    • I was given access to thousands of online trainings and had the chance to do the Lean Six Sigma White Belt Course.

    • The number of social engagements between colleagues and fellow students was average.

    • I stayed at home for the internship year.

    • Bishopton is a small town, however Glasgow is only 15 minutes away.

    • Yes, HP takes pride in doing sponsored walks etc for charity.
