About You
I found it extremely enjoyable, It was filled with all the information and people that you could want. By People, I mean I hugely enjoyed meeting and getting to know the other participants. We were a global group but all had the same drive and passion. By people, I also mean the professionals at Citi, they were all extremely encouraging and impressive in answering all manner of questions honestly and fully. Additionally, the presentations were greatly informative and interactive.
Very valued, it was clear everyone was aware of our presence in Citi that week and they appreciated our keen curiosity.
We were guided through step by step of M&A simulation and explained the daily routine of the professionals down to the hour. Leaving nothing to question.
The Insight convinced my of my desire to pursue a career within Markets and Securities, to which I will taylor my university modules to suit. It also allowed us practice at job interviews which is invaluable to us at this stage.
The Company
Very well structured and organised, giving us the overview of every business area as well as allowing us to also focus in on our specific preferences through the work shadowing session.
I enjoyed the atmosphere in the Citi office, you can feel the buzz. People are working fast and effectively, all the while enjoying their jobs and interacting with the people around them. Totalling to a motivated and stimulating atmosphere that encourages you to also do your very best.
Very much so, we had presentations form business areas, task simulations in Investment Banking and Corporate Banking. The most helpful part for us was the chance to interview and then receive personalised feedback.
I came away convinced of the role I would like to pursue within Citi. I felt I understood the requirements of the role and that my strengths would suit it.
The atmosphere of hard work, innovation and determination, as well as support and substantial training led me to understand the culture at Citi as one I would like to be part of.
I changed my opinion of the various roles in my Insight at Citi but I am now convinced of which business area I would like to work in. The great part about Citi Markets, is this is all I have to be sure of. In their internships and graduate programmes you are offered the opportunity of multiple rotations to sit at different desks and really discover where you are best suited.
Everything Else
All cows were covered and the hotel and transport were organised by their designated travel service.
Yes multiple occasions, some more formal some less.
Definitely, I already have.
