  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • I got to the insight without really knowing a lot about the financial world and it proved really helpful in this sense. I learnt really a lot since the very first time I stepped in and, most important for me, the programme helped me in finally decide that the industry I shadowed is the one I want to be working in.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • During my whole experience I felt really part of the team I was working in and they always revealed ready to help me and explain everything I wasn't clear about. I definitely felt valued.

  • I had really been supported a lot during my experience, moreover the team I was working with did not seem to consider me as weight but as a person to help in discovering the company and the industry.

  • I think the basic notions of the markets and especially commodities will prove very helpful both in my study and in my working career.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • I think that Citi Quest programme was really perfect for me and matched my needs in every aspect, both for technical issues and human relationships. I indeed learnt new notions and concepts as well as how people operate and co-operate in a team in order to deliver a service to the client.

  • I think Citi really invested in the success of our experience.

  • I had the possibility of working on the commodity desk with a team. I think that this kind of experiences are the best in order to understand how it would be like to work with Citi.

  • Working in a specific desk with full-time employees exposed me directly and indirectly to the company culture and values.

  • I enjoyed all the tasks I was assigned to and the fast-changing atmosphere fascinated me. I had the impression that this is the job I want to be doing.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • We had been given the possibility of being reimbursed of the expenses. Moreover the procedure was clear and straightforward.


  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • The networking is a crucial part of my positive feedback. I had the opportunity of comparing my role with others, to learn about other departments within Citi and to understand how my job fit into the company.

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • We went bowling at the O2 arena and it was really fun. While playing I had the opportunity of learning more about the industry and the company thanks to the people who attended the insight programme in the past years.

  • Being in the insight for only one week I didn't ear about any kind of activities .

  • Absolutely yes. if finance is the industry you want to be working in, then this kind of experience is the best for you to understand how the typical day and the atmosphere on the working place are
