About You
I was actually able to do the same work as analysts and learnt a huge amount from the experience
The work I was doing was being sent out to clients and I was working on live deals!
Whenever I was stuck on something I was able to ask for help from anyone.
Helped me learn excel shortcuts
The Company
Given a timetable in advance with layout of the week. Day officially finished at 5 but most days overran by a lot.
Friendly open, not as much time to meet with other spring weekers
Invested time to give me meaningful work and to help me but no formal training.
Was doing same work as analysts so fully understood what the role entailed
Only one network session with business reps so did not get to understand culture in other departments
Helped me see this is what I wanted to do
Everything Else
Reimbursed for travel and given £40 to spend in the canteen
You could arrange a meeting and there was one networking event
One bowling event..
Mainly work orientated
Yes, great opportunity, high retention rate to summer, really good insight into the business
