The Role
It was a great year. I had the real feel of what means to put your Uni knowledge into practice. I wasn't marginalized and considered as a valuable team member.
Everyone will contribute to your development and will support you in your work.
The management was very nice, supportive. There is also a mentoring scheme which helped me a lot.
I was quite busy, but this depends to individual. Mostly all inters get the same amount of job so depends on the individual how he manages it.
The responsibilities are starting from low to high. I started handling small responsibilities and ended up in managing the team's budget and running my own project.
I developed a lof of personal skills and soft skills. The team-work and communications skills will influence a lot during my final year.
The Company
The Bracknell office is quite nice. A lot of facilities, rooms, etc. However, I did not have a dedicated desk, and I am part of a global team.
It was well organized, I was involved in a lot of activities, and had the chance to work in other departments as well.
At HP you are open to a lot of trainings which you can proactively attend. The mentoring scheme will offer you a mentor, which will help you more with your development.

HP is willing to hire more interns each year.
The Culture
N/A
It is not very expensive, I was paying £360 a month for a very good room in a shared house including bills.
Bracknell is not nice, however reading is much better. I was leaving in Reading as well - its only 15 minutes drive from Bracknell.
Yes, there are loads of them. But you should be proactive and look for those opportunities.
