    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I really enjoyed my work placement year. I was able to experience a wide range of projects delivering client work, as well as working on BD tasks, organising charity and social events and representing the firm on campus.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • From the feedback i received formally and informally i felt extremly valued by my colleagues. I found this a great help and motivation when completing my work. I was always made feel that i was just like any other member of the team, and was never made to feel like the 'placement studnet'.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • On a day to day basis.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I was very busy most of the time. On most projects i was expected to work a lot of over time to meet client deadlines, however when i was waiting for new projects to start i was often not busy.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • On some projects i was given a manager lever job and on others i worked to the same level as colleagues who had graduated 2-3 years previously.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The skill set i have gained will help me in my degree and future career.
