The Role
I found my placement very much enjoyable. Good social environment, challenging tasks and a continuous opportunity to learn new things and gain new experiences.
Very much. HP's door to door policy ensured that I had the possibility to communicate with many different people within the organization. The company appreciated the work I put in, and everyone were easy to talk to.
At all times which I required help, this was given to me.
My day was always busy, which made the time go by very quickly.
I was challenged by the amount of responsibilities I was given. However, with support from my team, this was something that I got used to quickly.
To a very high extent. My placement gave great context for a lot of material that I read during my first two years of Uni. Having practical experience has made me more confident in my computer knowledge, and I have picked up several technical skills.
The Company
I really liked the atmosphere because it was casual and everybody seemed to get along well.
Very well. I got to work on tasks that has taught me a lot of different key skills that are required in industry as I look for graduate jobs.
Very much. The company was always concerned with what I got out of the placement, as well as them. Aside from this, there was many different web courses available for me.

Very well. HP seems to put emphasis on their interns, and often interns are hired by HP after their placement is over. I am doing part-time for the company in my third year.
The Culture
All interns got well along, and spent time together outside of work. The social environment of both placement students and colleagues were great.
Living in Bristol was fairly cheap, and together with other interns, I found a house close-by to where I work.
Great. As a city with 2 Universities, all the young people contribute to great nightclubs.
Yes. Lots of different activities were going on all the time, like football, table tennis, basketball and running.
