The Role
I have thoroughly enjoyed my year here working at Volkswagen Group and would reccomend the scheme to anybody looking to work in the automotive industry or for a general business placement.
My team have treated me like a full time member of staff and the responsibiilty given by my manager has been to a level where I feel valued and my work is accredited.
I gained ample amount of training and support from my management team which has allowed me to complete my role to a high standard.
They level of workload is sufficient for a working week, with projects sometimes piling up. Manageable!
I was given large amount of responsibility and the tasks which I role in which I have contributes to my teams wider workload. I have also managed my my projects and processes working with other departments to organise events and meet deadlines.
This year will allow me at university to apply practical theory to documented practise.
The Company
Good working atmosphere, expected to work hard but a good level of healthy office banter.
Good overall structure to the scheme, with planned development and sessions together as undergraduates
The company invested in several training courses such as Excel, Self management

Good graduate scheme but competittive to get a place on
The Culture
The undergraduates and graduates at Volkswagen both ventured in various social activities together such as a company football team, nights out etc
There is a high cost of living cost and going out isn't the cheapest but the wage is sufficient to still be sociable with friends
Not the best but manageable with a good group of friends!
