The Role
Very enjoybale however long hours during month end period with no extra reward.
Very valued and respected by team members and people above me.
Not as much support received from my manager who seemed to be too busy to commit as much time to my progression.
Very busy during the month end period and then more time later on in the month to do ad hoc tasks,
Large amount of responsibility, especially in terms of being able to work independently with opportunities to ask for help and error checking.
Very much so, especially with IT skills and using Excel, SAP and applying learnt knowledge.
The Company
Colleagues are very friendly and approachable, I am able to talk about things outside of work with colleagues.
Handover period was very structured and pivotal to my development with enough time so it was not rushed.
The company enabled me to go on various courses such as Self development for high performance and Excel training courses.
Sports and Social Club
Company Car
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
They are appealing however there are not any graduate schemes within my finance department.
The Culture
Very high cost of living, the company could have helped more by arranging formal opportunities to find places to live with other colleagues rather than leaving us to do it on our own.
There is a soical committee in my department which organises activities outside of work.
