The Role
Enjoyed many aspects of my placements as I was involved in number of projects and working at different sites. This experience helped me to understand that not all CAT sites work the same way and that its important to be adaptable.
To an extent that I was treated fairly to the rest of the IT team, other members of staff didn't see me no different and was treated with respect and was able to do my role without any issues.
Guidance has come throughout my placement as there has been times where I don't understand something and need more information or seek help from my manager.
Various from time to time, however at Wolverhampton site its been busy with the restructure and general projects at the place.
For me its like having full time job, you are not treated any different so you have to be ready!
Better communication skills (verbal and written ) Good at multi tasking Time management Team player Better at problem solving
The Company
Fairly casual but at times quiet (less staff)
Overall good was involved in many projects
N/A
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Not sure with the restructures and re plans there might not been many sites. Which means the location could be an issue so I might look into other organisations.
