The Role
I couldn't have asked for a more diverse placement with fantastic exposure into the food industry, particularly sports nutrition. Incredible facilities and a fantastic team to work with.
Fantastic team supported by 5 other student. Big responsibilities but well supported by experienced colleagues.
Each student had a different line manager offering as much support as is required. Still a strong feeling of independence when carrying out role.
For the first 10 months work quantity was ideal, not to quiet and not too busy. The last two months were quiet following company restructure announcements.
Each assigned task was unique and came with a sense of responsibility and trust.
Development of many personal skills and technical skills to apply to my final year work and future job roles. Achieved various training certifications.
The Company
Great place to work with a very sociable office. Multiple team building / work functions.
Excluding the last two months there was always enough work to be done.
Funded multiple trips and training opportunities.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Subsidised Canteen
Financial Bonus
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
The Future leaders programme looks like a great scheme however, no roles are focused directly upon nutrition.
The Culture
Multiple team building and work functions.
