The Role
I had a great time - gained a lot of experience and made valuable connections.
I felt that I was really contributing to something important and my colleagues always made me feel like I was an integral part of the team.
I received extensive support from my manager and the people I worked with.
There were times when I was busier than usual, but overall it was well balanced.
I was surprised how much people relied on me. They entrusted me with a lot of important tasks.
I think this placement will play a huge role during my final year as well as in my future career.
The Company
Very friendly and productive atmosphere.
There was an overall plan for my whole year, but there was a lot of flexibility in terms of the details.
The amout of time and resourses the company spent on my personal development definitely exceded my expectations.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Subsidised Canteen
Financial Bonus
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
I think there is a very high chance I would one day come back to work in this company again.
The Culture
The social atmosphere was brilliant! there were more than 100 placement students on site during the year.
It was very similar to the cost of life at university, so nothing really changed for me.
The night life was not that great because the town where I lived was very small. There was the opportunity to go to London, but it was still a huge commitment.
Yes, there were loads of events organised by the company.
