About You
I enjoyed the placement fully. It was extremely insightful and I gained a lot of knowledge and insight into Unilever and how the company operates as a whole. Everyone was friends and helpful.
I felt extremely valued. Everyone took the time to talk to me, to make me feel welcome and to help me if there were any problems or questions I had. I felt valued even amongst all the other attendees.
I received a lot of guidance and support as everyone told me as much information as I required. We were told of the plans a lot in advance and were given a detailed scheduled. I felt comfortable to ask for more guidance and support when necessary.
It has assisted me in many ways. I now feel a lot more comfortable and confident in professional environments and it has motivated me in my degree. I now work harder and put a lot more effort into networking with members of staff here at my university after learning how important networking is.
The Company
Very well structured-we received a detailed plan at the beginning which was stuck to throughout. We were also told the day's plans on the night before and were informed if there were any changes.
The atmosphere was friendly and happy. Everyone was genuinely interested and excited to be there.
They invested quite a bit as they were keen to offer us a good insight. Although the placement was only for four days so opportunities were limited.
It gave me a good insight as I saw the offices and was able to experience what a working day would be like and how the company treats employees.
It helped me a lot as I learnt a lot about their values and interests and how the company works as a whole.
It helped me a lot as I decided I wanted to work in FMCG.
