About You
Really enjoyed the programme. I learnt a lot about Unilever and the different functions.
We had a lot of networking opportunities, including some with Senior Leaders, so it felt nice to know that these employees were taking the time to speak to us.
Had lots of opportunities to ask questions.
The last day of the programme was an assessment centre to gain a place on either the Summer Internship or Industrial Placement Scheme, so the programme is very useful in terms of helping to secure a graduate job, and being able to experience an assessment centre. Also received a lot if information about Unilever's different projects e.g. Project Sunlight.
The Company
The programme was very well structured. We were given a booklet on arrival, which detailed what we were going to be doing on each day.
There was a laid back atmosphere, everyone was very friendly and happy to answer questions.
The day after the assessment centre I got a call regarding the outcome and got lots of very helpful feedback.
One day consisted of a challenge of launching a new Dove product. The teams were our functions, so it really helped me understand what someone working in Finance might be doing on a day-to-day basis.
Learnt a lot about Unilever's culture through presentations and the Sustainable Business Challenge.
Got an insight into what working at Unilever would be like, and if I would fit in there.
Everything Else
I was reimbursed up to £100 for travel costs. We were given accommodation at a hotel, and all of our meals were provided. We also had plenty of free Ben & Jerry's.
Yes, spoke to a lot of employees from the different functions.
Had plenty of opportunities to get to know the other people on the programme, which made it more enjoyable.
Yes!
