The Role
I very much enjoyed this placement year, working in a pharma company in communications was extremely eye opening and interesting as a first job.
The communications team is quite small and close as we all have to work together to achieve our goals. I feel liek a valued member of teh team and feel respected as well.
My managers and colleagues have been absolutely amazing in supporting my personal development and helping me interate into the company.
I always have something to do, and the work is always valuable and engaging.
I have actaully been given quite a lot of responsibility, updating the external and internal websites, sending out newsletters and setting up events.
The skills and insights i have acquired on this placement will be invaluable for my future.
The Company
It is a buzzing atmosphere, with lots going on amongst all the different departments. Always friendly, helpful and engaging.
Very well organised. My role was clearly defined within my department and i set to work almost instantly.
I was very well invested in; going on external business trips, tarining sessions, being nominated for the garduate scheme.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Very appealing, i would welcome the opportunity to come back.
The Culture
Yes there was. Lots of different social activities and events were organised throughout the year.
I lived in Brentford, where the office was located, and even though it is located in London, i still had enough to go out and enjoy it!
There was none. But clubs are close by!
Yes, there were: gym, 5-a-side football, badmington, etc anything and everything in London.
