The Role
I enjoyed my placement very much.
All members of staff were friendly and supportive.
All members of staff were extremely helpful and supportive.
The hospital was always busy and there were always things to do on the wards.
I was given a fair amount of responsibility but still required supervision.
This placement really helped me to develop my basic patient care skills. I will the take these skills with me throughout my career.
The Company
Everyone was very friendly and welcoming.
There were a few organisational problems at the beginning but once they were overcome the placement ran smoothly.
I received a lot of one to one tuition from my mentor.
Working from home
I would really like to work in this hospital in the future.
The Culture
There was not a lot of time during the placement to socialise.
I live quite close to the hospital so travel expenses were low.
Not brilliant!
There was not much time to socialise during the placement.
