    • I enjoyed my placement very much.

    • All members of staff were friendly and supportive.

    • All members of staff were extremely helpful and supportive.

    • The hospital was always busy and there were always things to do on the wards.

    • I was given a fair amount of responsibility but still required supervision.

    • This placement really helped me to develop my basic patient care skills. I will the take these skills with me throughout my career.

    • Everyone was very friendly and welcoming.

    • There were a few organisational problems at the beginning but once they were overcome the placement ran smoothly.

    • I received a lot of one to one tuition from my mentor.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • There was not a lot of time during the placement to socialise.

    • I live quite close to the hospital so travel expenses were low.

    • Not brilliant!
