The Role
I've had a fantastic time at ProspectSoft, having an insight into the "real world" has given my degree true meaning.
One of the great aspects of my placement has been taking a very active role within the company - producing work for paying customers to a high standard.
Management are there when you need them, although using your own initiative is expected within ProspectSoft.
I always felt busy at work, although whether that is just the norm I don't know...
I have taken a very real role in my placement year, within 6 weeks working on projects for customers.
I believe my placement was invaluable and I have a great drive to succeed in my final year now
The Company
Generally there has been a lot of good banter in the office, ProspectSoft is a fairly young company so easy to fit in to as a student
A familiarisation day was arranged for all the students and I had a point of call whenever I had questions.
We were given training at the start of our placement although I believe that was more for the interests of the company rather than the students..
Company Parties/Events
I have been offered a provisional job for when I finish University and looking forward to going back
The Culture
There are a large number of placements at ProspectSoft so we have ensured we have stayed in touch with the "student lifestyle" on many occaisions!
About average really, I haven't struggled at all for money this year
High Wycombe has enough for a night out, but Oxford and London aren't far if you want a 'proper' night out (Fabric, Minestry etc)
Football, cricket amongst others
