The Role
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here at Intel. I'm stunned at how quickly the time has gone since I began a year ago!
I felt valued by colleagues, shown by the responsibility I was given and the fantastic hospitality provided by them. It was a great experience in that respect.
We had weekly meetings with management. This was effective in making my placement as fulfilling as possible.
This would fluctuate depending on business needs but I was usually occupied by a set of tasks. Some days were very busy!
Given that I was part of a small team, my level of responsibility was high. I was given challenging tasks.
Looking back at where I was before compared to myself after 12 months, I can comfortably say I've improved technically and interpersonally. This will certainly help me in my final year of University and graduate employment.
The Company
The atmosphere in the office was very welcoming. This certainly helped in settling in when I first started and throughout the course of my placement.

The stuff I worked on was very exciting. The chance to work on other innovative projects in the future is very attractive.
The Culture
There were only two of us interning at the office. However we didn't let that stop us having a social scene!
I lived at home with family during my placement and commuted. It is London so costs of travel is steep.
London nightlife is fantastic! It does come at a price of course. But definitely worth every penny!
