The Role
Day to day tasks were interesting and also given the opportunity to occasionally do something a bit different (Off-site training/ meetings)
Varied a lot. Majority of colleagues treat you as an equal. However, some lack of communication when attempting to get in touch with higher level management.
My line manager was always very helpful. He pushed me to work hard and supported me with further guidance/ explanations when needed.
Never completely over run but always kept occupied..
Enough.
Due to my role, I can foresee a couple of final year modules that I should really benefit the experience. In terms of beyond my studies, I feel that I have learnt a lot about culture/ politics at work
The Company
Fairly quiet but very friendly.
Placed in one team for duration of placement. Then as part of intern scheme for all UK interns had the opportunity to do attend other events. (Team building/ presentation skills workshop)
3 off-site events - Team building, presentation skills workshop and career planning gala. With regards to final year project, company have shown an interest.

The Culture
Everyone was friendly. (Approx 8 interns/ grads on site). Due to living further away than most, I was unable to get involved in as many after hours activities. Although there was attempts to organize events.
Not a cheap place to live. However, I lived at home and travelled to work so was therefore unaffected by this.
Pretty good in Bournemouth/ Southampton.
Offers were there but I didn't get too involved (Due to living further away than most). Occasionally played 5-aside.
