The Role
I really enjoyed the variation in my work and the new challenges given to me every day.
Being a small company I was able to get to know everyone. All of my colleagues were a pleasure to work with.
Guidance was always given when needed by management. Again, being a small company guidance was available from all departments and just not my own.
Being a small growing business there were constant new projects to keep me busy and working hard. I never felt like my workload was too much.
I was given responsibilty of managing my own time and projects. I was able to decide when to work on projects and the priority of projects.
I feel that my skills have vastly improved during my placement. However, the training given was more specific to the company itself.
The Company
There is a general friendly atmosphere around the office.
There were plenty of oppertunities to meet current employees and the company kept in contact throughout the whole process very well.
The initial training was good.
Company Parties/Events
As a small growing business with plenty of exciting oppertunities I would be glad to work for ProspectSoft again.
The Culture
Plenty of oppertunities to go out although a lot of other placements strayed home most weekends.
The cost of living nearby was good.
I thought the nightlife was poor. One poor club and a few small bars. Student nights were good but not a good idea during the week.
Plenty of oppertunities to socialise at the pub and play football with colleagues. A little effort and pestering is required
