The Role
I had a really great manager and got to work on some fun things but the majority of the work was quite mundane.
The work I did I was always thanked for and felt like it was appreciated
Very good support from my task manager, my personal development manager however was hard to get hold of because they were always very busy
Often didn't have enough work to do unless it came up to an event and then they'd be loads to do
I was left in charge of running our area of marketing when my manager was ill
I do a marketing degree so haven't learnt that much in terms of marketing but got some great experience in events
The Company
Very quiet office, it will be closing in the near future
You had regular reviews and it followed a structure
I had marketing intern days where we built on skills and there's an day for all the interns to go to to find out more about graduate careers

They don't do a marketing graduate scheme but they do let the current interns apply for the graduate jobs before the general public can
The Culture
Not in my office but I was in a very small office, there were only about ten of us
Surrey is pretty expensive since its right next to London
There's okay nightlife in Guildford
If you were willing to put yourself out there and volunteer or organise things yourself then yes
