The Role
I was in a very busy team, which meant the support I was given was pretty limited.
My work was very self-directed so I had a lot of control over how hard I worked.
Given lots of freedom to work on the project how I wanted, though partly due to lack of managerial oversight and support!
The Company
Lots of people working at home or around the country meant there wasn't much of an atmosphere in the office.
A bit hit and miss, some of the organisation felt a bit last minute.
Had opportunity to access online training facilities, but only had time to use them for things which were directly relevant to what I was doing. I missed the development day at the end so I don't know what that was like.

The Culture
Not many people wanted to socialise - early attempts by interns to organise things had low attendance.
London prices for socialising. I lived at home so only had commuting costs.
Never really went out late
Graduate socials were poorly attended by interns. I never really put much effort into trying to find activities outside of work, but there didn't seem to be that many things going on.
