The Role
Fantastic place to work, full of opportunities for individuals have the desire to achieve.
Colleagues would always make an effort to ensure I was happy in my role and that I understood what was required of me.
Having a line manager and weekly flash review meetings helped me through my 15 months with the organisation greatly.
There were times when I would argue I was too busy, however I would argue that this was a consequence of me failing to manage my own work load rather than my managers expecting to much of me.
I had the opportunity to head up the marketing operations of the small business I was working in due to my line manager changing roles. The opportunities and responsibilities available at 3M are limitless if you have the drive and ambition to take things on!
I would argue that my key skills such as interpersonal, time management and presentation have increased ten fold as a consequence of spending a year with 3M.
The Company
Great people around and that are always willing to assist with any issues.
HR and the business I was working in did a fantastic job.
Having the opportunity to take on training courses was a great perk.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Working from home
I would certainly be interested in going back to the organisation if an opportunity were to arise.
The Culture
Whilst we were a small group (the placement students), we interacted a great deal with the graduates and overall there was a good social scene,
When compared to other areas near by, not to bad at all.
Reading was O.K., but Bracknell isn't really know for its night life.
Despite there being very little in the way of night-life in Bracknell, there were opportunities to take part in many sporting events as well as some nights out in other near by areas.
