    The Company

  • A nice and friendly atmosphere, with a great community of colleagues.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Very well set up, with a strong HR and recruitment side. Work plans are well planned and accomodate a whole range of possible skills.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Many training courses are available (which I am still to take advantage of), and many induction courses, so learning about the placement and the work involved within the placement is easy to find out.

  • Very uncertain as the government are making large cuts.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Many meetings occur between placement students as we have involvement in Christmas party organising, and studewnt recruitment for next year. Between colleagues there are many social events that occur, drinking socials, as well as, sporting activities.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Moving to another part of the country wasn't cheap, but I am still managing to save money from my wages.

  • Very good.

  • Many outside work conferences, not much on the social side.
