    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Since it had an assessment day, the days preceding it were quite stressful.

    • My supervisor did not seem to want a vac scheme student around, but the rest of the department were welcoming.

    • The HR team were helpful.

    • When there were talks it was busy, but there wasn't much to do in the department.

    • I was given small and clerical tasks, often with the secretaries.

    • The talks were helpful, especially since they covered many practice areas.

    • The other staff didn't seem particularly enthusiastic about their jobs.
