The Role
It has been an extremely rewarding experience to work within a large organisation such as Vauxhall.
Most staff are keen to engage and make you feel welcomed.
Management are excellent and ensure that you know what needs to be achieved and how you should go about doing so.
Some weeks, it is necessary to stay late in the office in order to meet certain deadlines.
I was given budgets and critical processes to manage. This was a very difficult but extremely rewarding experience.
As a result of this placement, I feel much more confident in applying for, and securing, a graduate job in the future. I have massively improved my skills in all areas.
The Company
The atmosphere is professional, however, there is room for a laugh now and then!
The scheme has been established for a number of years, as a result, it is very well run.
I was afforded the opportunity to attend sales skills courses, computer program based courses as well as a PRINCE 2 course.

I would seriously consider coming back to work for Vauxhall, however, I am unsure of how the Graduate Recruitment scheme works.
The Culture
There is always lots of activity at the weekends. London is very close too!
Living is quite expensive when compared where I am from (North West) due to the proximity to London. Socialising can be quite expensive too.
Luton itself doesn't have much going on, whereas, surrounding areas; London, St Albans, Harpenden etc. have much more activity.
Yes, there are regular CSR/ activity days to partake in.
