  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Pretty busy but also had time for personal development, learning new skills, meeting new people and exploring different parts of the business.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given a lot of autonomy to make decisions and real responsibility. As a result I was able to positively influence the areas of the business that I was working on and have some key stats that I can take away in the knowledge that I made them happen.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I learnt many interpersonal skills, business specific skills as well as transferable technologies such as Google Analytics. I also honed my time management skills and learnt just how much you can get done in a day with a proper routine.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Really fun vibe but still able to concentrate and get work done. Good banter within my team especially (not so much in others)

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Well structures and organised but with a key focus on me, my skills and allowing me to shape the placement with regards to what I wanted to get out of the year.

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I learnt how to use myriads of software, I became more analytical, went on paid courses, attended lectures, built relationships with several internal and external stakeholders, was given time to catch up with people on all levels of the business and got to visit a few new places as well.

    5/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • I feel in a good position to apply for the grad scheme as I am a good fit with the values of the company and have a good understanding of it.

    4/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • The other placement students got on pretty well but they lived together. I did not and am also very busy with extra curricular activities so I did not tend to socialise with them that much. I got on really well with my team though and we went on lots of team days and a few nights out which were really good fun.

    4/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • I lived at home with my parents during my placement so only paid a small amount of rent. We tended to go out either around the office or in London so the cost can vary. There are lots of company owned places to visit though and you can also get discount at lots of places so there are perks.

    3/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • It's not the best around here but there are nearby places that are better such as Reading or London that can be good to go out in.

    3/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • There are loads of societies, I joined the five-a-side football team and also played socially at Friday lunch times. I also played badminton a few times with some of my team after work. However, it's not a great drinking scene as everyone drives so can only really have one drink; the downside of not being based in London.

    5/5
