The Role
I have enjoyed working at Enterprise throughout my placement.
I felt very valued by the colleagues as they gave responsibilities that made me work closely with them on projects and tasks.
I was supported greatly by my managers and they have helped me develop various professional skills and improve on skills that I have developed from my university.
At the start there was a slow phase so I wasn't busy all the time. However, currently that I have taken on many responsibilities for the department. I have become very busy and each minute is utilised on productive work.
As weeks went by I was given with more and more responsibility. So, initially I was working on admin work and now I have been given ownerships of projects and managing projects and the team on small tasks.
Many of the skills that I developed will help me in various aspects throughout my final year at university and future career. One of the main reasons I took a placement with Enterprise was to get to develop professional skills; organisational, project management, time management and communication skills.
The Company
It was generally a fun atmosphere but, as it is a head office the attitude of everyone was much professional. But, we did have some chats and generally everyone in the office are very friendly and I got to know everyone of them.
It was fairly well set-up. As, this was the first time the Department hired a 12 month placement student they didn't have a structure but, they have improvised well to create a structure that works well for me.
The company invested good amount of time in development. As, I worked in the IT department I was given training on a daily basis and I got to learn various new techniques that will help in future.

There is a great career opportunity/ progression with Enterprise. But, as I want to work in a different industry/ sector it doesn't appeal to me.
The Culture
Yes, I got to meet all the interns/ placement student at Enterprise and we have had few social lunch and drinks.
I was commuting and the travel cost is very pricy but, socialising in the area is not as costly as Central London.
There is few pubs around the area but, not so much of a club. But, overall its a good place to socialise as you tend to be more mature when you are working in a corporate office.
I have taken part in friendly football on Friday evenings with other Enterprise employees.
