The Role
A dynamic, varied and crazy 11 months!
Great support and training throughout. I felt part of the team, whether that be in Store or in the office my work was always recognised.
Fantastic support, I had a personal training mentor and a specific training plan set out in every module. Always felt like I had someone I could talk to.
You are always busy, never a dull moment at Lidl- that's just how the company works.
In Store, not as much as I would've hoped but generally through the placement candidates are treated with the up most respect, in office based modules get considerable responsibility.
So many transferable skills! Management experience, organisation, delegation, excel, presenting, recruitment, negotiation.. to name a few.
The Company
In store it is hard work, challenging, long and busy but generally team atmosphere, great customers, never dull moment, steep learning curve, a new experience. In the office very welcoming, and given lots of responsibility.
Perfectly organised, lots of choice. you have the reins, flexible and varied.
Lots of training, seminars, and national meetings.
