The Role
Great experience in a world class company at the forefront of technological advancements in pharmaceutical development.
Felt part of the department, and had my opinions and insight respected. Was not treated as 'just an intern'.
Great professional relationship. Was always made time for when needed and guided when unsure as to the next step. Given constant feedback and praised for good work.
Periods of constant work and quiet periods.
Given a project with certain deliverables that were expected to be met.
Less so in my degree compared to life beyond. The experience of being with a company for an entire year has helped me understand what professional life within a global multi-disciplinary company will be like, and how to conduct myself in a professional environment.
The Company
Good atmosphere. At a table with other interns and apprentices made it easier to forge friendships due to the age similarities.
Good throughout.
Constantly supported my attempts to expand my learnings within the company and industry.
Flexi Time
National Travel
Above 25 days holiday
Working from home
Not mentioned, but possible as other past interns have been taken on for positions.
The Culture
A few social events organised by the department as well as occasional lunches to celebrate colleague achievements.
Normal housing costs. Socialising required travel.
No nightlife in Ramsgate.
Not much happening in the area.
