The Role
I enjoyed my placement quite a lot, it was also rather busy and there was loads to do. We were given the same responsibilities as everyone else and not just made to make cup of teas or file paper work!
I felt reasonably valued by colleagues, I fit in quite easily and got along with them really well. They were always on hand to answer any questions I needed to ask.
I received quite a lot of help by the management team, I also got help from the other colleagues as well, not just the management team.
Our branch was quite busy on a day-to-day basis so there was always something to do.
I was given the same responsibility as my other fellow colleagues, one bit as a time as there was a lot to learn.
They will help relatively well in my studies and degree. It has increased my confidence and self knowledge and given me a lot of work-related knowledge I could possibly apply to future jobs.
The Company
Very relaxed and easy going at times, serious when need to be. Was professional but also had a lot of fun in the office too with both colleagues and customers.
very well organised, training set out clearly and was given several tasks to be completed in certain weeks.
I feel the company invested in me a lot, I was given the same responsibilities, perks and pay as other colleagues at my level and I also got given the same time as everyone else. There was never a time I felt lesser than my colleagues.
Flexi Time
Financial Bonus
Quite appealing, there is the opportunity to move up rather fast within the organization.
The Culture
It was okay, I knew quite a few colleagues before beginning so it was quite social for me in terms of conversation.
The cost of living is very high in the area I work in but it is rather sociable and there is a large social scene around the town
The nightlife was fairly busy on weekends, lots to do for everyone including nightclubs, bars or just restaurants for a meal out.
Down to the individuals choice but there are a lot of chance to do so.
