The Role
Working at Enterprise was extremely fun, you work alongside very friendly people who are all very ambitious. I was able to learn lots more about working for a large business and the way a business runs and the challenges presented at times. Enterprise helped me become a more confident and organized person which are two vital competencies to have.
I always felt like everybody was willing to help me progress and very complementary when I succeeded. I most certainly felt valued and my colleagues and I would always look out for each other and congratulate one another.
Regular training was very helpful and made you aware of what was expected of you. There were also regular updates from our Area manager as to where we stood in relation to the area, this is very motivating and raised light competitiveness throughout.
Most of the time quite busy in and out of the branch however not too busy that you don't feel capable. Everybody likes a challenge.
I was given responsibility from the start, from ringing reservations to checking in cars. Responsibility is a big factor at Enterprise helping you gain confidence and ownership.
They have helped me to understand different leadership styles and how to become more resilient to certain things in a business. Communication skills are always important and these are constantly improving when using telephones on a regular basis and working face-to-face with customers. The skills I have developed are very beneficial to completing my degree and helping me become more ambitious and aware of things I like and dislike.
The Company
A friendly and happy environment, however it is what you make it!
Very organized and laid out as to what was expected of you, you receive and folder which allows you understand all your targets and goals. Strong support from everybody in the company.
Regular training in and out of working hours, this involved going up to head office which is good fun and helps you interact with employees of varied levels. You feel very proud and valued when you go to training and that everybody is aware of your success.
Company Parties/Events
Very appealing as at Enterprise you can get promoted as quickly as you desire if you put the work in. Progress is easily achieved and at your own pace, they are very welcoming and show great interest in you returning, I have been told my future role will be available when I graduate.
The Culture
Average. There are lots of you so it has potential but not as many social events as I would have liked.
Good as I lived at home and had the chance to save money.
good
